also looking for small 12v solar powered pump, using a 5 watt panel. anyone know where i can find one in south africa.

A good little water pump is the "ShurFlo" brand. It is used in camper and boat fresh water systems. Most are 12vdc, but are available 24vdc, 36vdc, 115vac. Easy to work on too.
