solar power for an electric fence
I have an electric fence (about 1/2 acre) and would like to power it with solar energy.  Does anyone know what solar parts I would need which would not be expensive?  Thank you, Jackie

Your local farm sells a good solar fence charger package forr about $200 that uses a gellcell battery that will charge that small fence for about a month.

I have fence charger that I got at the local feed store, It work reasnable well. I think it has a 6 volt battory and a solar panel on the top.
