diodes
I'm using a trace C40 controller so I don't need to use diodes on paniels but decided not to remove them. How does this affect my output? Is there any loss? Thanks Ernie

Ernie..diodes are just check valves...allowing current to only pass one way...they have a high resistance in one dirction and very little resistance in the other...

Yes you do loose a little voltage - depending on diodes type.. (0.5, 1 or even 2 volts)
