Hybrid Grid-Tie System

Hybrid Grid-Tie System
I am considering installing the Whisper 200 wind turbine and a photovoltaic panel in a hybrid grid-tie system.  However, I am unsure of how the two systems would be interconnected.  Can they both feed a single inverter (if so, which model would you suggest?), or will they need to run separately into the utility?  I appreciate any help you can provide.

Re: Hybrid Grid-Tie System (Reply #1)
Hi J.T.  I have a functioning system using the whisper 200's and solar panels, and operate off-grid most of the time.  If you look at my album on alternative energy, you will see a wiring diagram of how everything is connected.  The Xantrex inverters have the capability to grid tie......I just don't use that function, but it is selectable.  Jon C. :-)
