Winter storage of batteries

Winter storage of batteries
This summer I got 4 Deka Gel batteries for a system I will install next year.
I have them in an unheated garage - Toronto Ontario.
They were supposed to be fully charged but not sure.
Should I take any precaution to prevent them from freezing?
Thanks  Jerry

keep them inside somewhere if you can.  gel can generally handle cold better than other types, but if i were you and i spent a hunk of money on batteries, i would not leave them in my garage in toronto. Smiley

Jerry, maybe you can mount them on some sort of cart with wheels to make the move easier...
